Meeting Information:

Location:  Membership meetings are currently held at the Northglenn Christian Church, 1800 E 105th Pl, Northglenn, CO 80233.  
When:  The ACAFCC business/workshop meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of every month from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted (see list below for date).

Providers bring snacks & refreshments to share and are from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for some social time before the meeting starts.

Board Meetings:  Board meetings are held every month at Heidi Strong's house beginning at 6:30 p.m. In the case that she can not have it at her home it will be at one of the other board member's home. Board meetings are open to all members. Please RSVP with the board person in advance, hosting the meeting. 


Calendar of Events:

Please note that the association provides training sessions from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. sometimes. Please note that you will need to stay the whole time to receive the certificate. You will need to RSVP with Bernice @720-883-6777 so she can make your certificate. Thank you!

NOTE: Make sure you print out your certificate!! Otherwise you will have to take the course over again. I saved it to my computer and for some reason both times it did not save. ANNUALLY.
Prevention of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and Use of safe sleep habits. (SIDS)

Medication Administration 
Only available now through a state-approved trainer.
Due Every 3 years
Building and Physical Premises Safety/Storage of Hazardous Materials and Bio-Contaminants. Ask Licensing specialist for support. Needs to be done by Dec 31, 2016
My understanding is that you need to write down any where abouts of Hazardous materials and Bio-contaminants and how they are locked up to prevent the children to get to them. Any lake, stream, river and or pool is included. You then have a meeting with any helpers so they are aware of them all. If anyone knows of anything I should add please let me know. Note; Best to contact your licensee for info on this.
One time deal or may be more if your situation changes.
First Aid/CPR Approved State Trainer ONLY. 
Depends on trainer every 1-2 years
Instructions on printing out certificates on PDIS:
1) Click on PDIS
2) login on top left
3) Click on my dashboard
4) Click on PDIS Transcript
5) Scroll down to course and click on view certificate
6) Print and then save if you like to computer
